The apparent and direct fact that Christ in biblical accounts requests a type of radical love concentrated on the poor has consistently rendered Christian religion rather a controversial faith: appealing to the masses, but because of its inherent radicalness requiring to be contained. In the fifties it was contained through watering down – Protestantism was so prevalent that it essentially baptized the status quo.

A Battle for the Highest Within Us

So I have been encouraged to see the persistent defiance against Trump arise in this past year. It has provided great solace to help build the campaign that has taken to the streets via continuous gatherings, and appears to have motivated electorate to participate in significant amounts in interim political contests. We will need to persist with it, and with identical determination, displaying national flags during all protests and calls to the finest aspects in US history.
